What a terrible company...
I have been an AT&T / Cingular customer for 12 years and cannot believe how freakin poor their customer no service is !!!!!! I absolutely dread calling the 1-800 number " Better hope you have nothing planned for the next several hours"....Never experienced anything like it in my life.....Been on hold now for 3.5 hours and still have not spoken to a human.............I am beyond wanting to speak to somebody now...I started opening a new account on my other phone at the 3 hour mark....Good bye AT&T....I am now to the point of just finding out how long it is going to be for a human to answer the phone so I can shout F#@& You....I'm Gone Good bye and good riddens to a remarkably poor company !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I has over 17000 roll over minutes and was advised to lower my package to use up my minutes and learned on my next bill the units were totally wiped out and I received a $1650 bill. No one has been able to help me correct this.
I will have to look for another provider at 23 years of bing a loyal customer.
It is so dissapointing to see a once consumer conscious company become a poor provider.
AT&T has always had crappy customer service and always will. I've had so many bad experiences with them in various incarnations throughout the years that I'll never deal with them again in any fashion.
I won't argue for at&t, but I think it's more accurate to say ALL cell phone companies have poor customer service. I've been through at least 4 providers, and stayed long enough to realize how much they each sucked. I no longer fool myself into believing switching carriers will magically make people start to enjoy dealing with customers, or answer my call any sooner. Instead, I chose based on the quality of calls, the billing method, and more recently, availability of the iphone. The first two factors had me with Cingular already, which worked out pretty well when Apple picked them to roll out iphones.
