Their mistake COST ME hundreds of dollars!

In September of 2006 against my best judgment I brokered a deal for 500 imprinted Water Bottles. Printglobe.com and my account rep, Kimble, assured me they could handle the quick turnaround, all they needed was full payment and the artwork.

My customer supplied me with a PDF file that I forwarded to Printglobe.com, I never touched the file. When we received a Digital Proof of the supplied file we were happy with the size and positioning of the image, so we signed off. The job was printed, and shipped with my client's name misspelled on the bottles!

The PDF we sent was correct, Printglobe.com ruined our supplied file. Now our only option was to have the bottles reprinted and shipped overnight to make the event. Printglobe.com however took no responsibility because we signed off on the proof. Why would we check the spelling on a file we built! Printglobe.com was not contracted to build the artwork nor were they authorized to manipulate the file other than scaling the size.

Ultimately I not only ate it on the job, but I ended up paying out over $300 to get the job delivered on time.

I have worked with PrintGlobe numerous times and think they are the best printing service on the net. PrintGlobe sells me printing for my customers, and a printer I know that the proofs sent have to be looked at closely. The other printer needs to follow their own rules and look at the proofs more closely.

I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for printing services. Nearly 50% of the "can-coolies" in my order were defective and unacceptable because the printing was sloppy and smeared. In addition, I received my order the day before the event at which I was to hand out the can-coolies as gifts. There was no time to return the defective items for replacement. To this date, PrintGlobe has been unwilling to even try and resolve this matter and correct their mistake. Poor quality. Poor processing time. Poor customer service.

I have used Printglobe for our waterbottle order the last 4 years and I have had nothing but GREAT service and GREAT turn out on our waterbottles. I definitely suggest that everyone look twice at their proof - that is why they have you second look it just in case there are errors along the way. Take responsibility, move on, and quit putting the blame on printglobe!

I've had nothing but fantastic service from Printglobe. They are always very informative and help me every step of the way. I will continue to look to Printglobe for my future orders.
