Telus needs to pull their heads out of their ass!

So TELUS has this great deal, you may have heard of it. It’s called the Easy PC Plan. It allows you to sign a contract with TELUS for internet service and receive a dell laptop. Sounds great right? Well it would be great if I had my lap top! I ordered my service about a month ago and was told it would take three to five weeks to receive the laptop and that I would receive a confirmation E-mail shortly with a tracking number for my order. By July 7th I had yet to receive any e-mail so I called to inquire about my order only to be told they didn’t know what was going on and that someone would look into it. I was told to call back and so today July 9, 2008 I called back to find out what was going on and was told my order had never been placed but they had placed it today and it would be a minimum of another three weeks. That’s 8 weeks in total if it gets here “on time” now. I am still expected to pay for the Internet service however because TELUS TV also runs off that connection, and so weather or not it is the use I intended to have internet for I am still using the service and it still “works” so I cannot cancel with out paying the fee. This however was not explained to me at the time of agreeing to this contract with TELUS because the agent felt it was not relevant to me! TELUS needs a huge wake up call! The company would not exists with out the customer, yet TELUS feels they can treat customers with disrespect and provide terrible service all well charging as much as they possibly can! Its time this stops and I encourage everyone who has been ripped off by TELUS to take action, contact lawyers, and take back everything TELUS has taken from you with no right! Someone needs to show TELUS that their shady business and shitty service will not be tolerated!
