Right Hand Doesn't Know What Left Hand is Doing

I recently signed up for ATT Uverse - big, big mistake. It has been a comedy of errors except that there is nothing funny about it. I am considering sending AT&T a bill for my time. Here's just a samplin' of what's gone wrong:
1. Uverse could not hook up my services for OVER TWO WEEKS! I run a business from my home and cannot be without the internet. So in the interim, I placed an order for service continuation at my new address. Because I need the internet to run my business, have I mentioned that?
2. This order never happened - there was a variety of explanations, all contradictory. And then....I found out this interim, tiding-me-over order was entered for phone service only, not DSL. Did I mention the home business thing? Needing the internet? yeah, I thought so. I mentioned it to them, too, Which is the reason for the interim order. Who's on first?
3. They then lost my Uverse order, even though I could log into my account and see the order. Every single phone number you call for cust. svc. has their own codes for things, and they don't know each other's codes.
4. I spoke to an emotional zombie of a repairman, who said he was coming out "today." Then I got disconnected (this happens 50% of the time, especially when things get rough). I called back and got a cust svc person in repair, who said that the repairman was coming on Monday (two days from "today.")She could not find out the repairman who spoke to me on the phone. Do they keep any notes in their system, does their call system log these things?
5. Now, I am currently speaking to yet another customer service tech who is giving me completely different reasons for these screw ups. The last one, when I was explaining my frustrations, said, "If you can cooperate with me, I will connect you with customer service." If I can cooperate? I give this company money every month, they screw up royally and ask me to cooperate? (And I was not yelling, screaming or cursing - merely trying to explain the situation.)
This is just an overview of the mistakes, bad customer service, etc. I have spent 5.5 hours on the phone with ATT at this point.
AT7T, you can just suck it at this point. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
