Lousy Service

On March 19, 2007 I purchased a used Chrysler Pacifica from Adams Jeep of Aberdeen Md. They seemed like it was a hassle for us to buy the vehicle from them (yet they are the ones who kept us there for 3 hours), then the lady who does the financial part insulted my husband because he is a pro golfer. Finally, we get ready to leave, they tell me they are bringing around the vehicle, so I wait (with my 19 month old child who is getting quiet irritated by this point) and wait and wait.

Finally they tell me that the vehicle is around back. Get to the vehicle and they don't even detail it. So, the sales person is supposed to call me in a day or 2 to make an appointment to get the minor surface scratches buffed out. He does not call, I have to call. I make the appointment for 3-28-07. I ask for a loaner car. I felt like that was another huge hassle for them.

They bring me a 2004 Nissan Sentra. Considering I bought an almost fully loaded vehicle, I get a crap car that the engine is about to vibrate out of and it stinks!! Not to mention it doesn't have the proper safety equipment for the child's seat. So the guy tells me he will call me in about 20 minutes to let me know what time my vehicle will be done. (It is now 9:30am) 1:30pm comes and I get a phone call saying my car is finished. I get there about 3:00pm.

I see my vehicle I inspect doesn't look like anything has been done. Even the detailing they were supposed to do, they left big dirt marks on the vehicle and smeared windows and mirrors. And the scratches are still there. I go in to get my keys the guy is on the phone hands me my keys and keeps on talking on the phone. Who am I supposed to talk to at this point?? So I leave and I will never say a good word about that dealership or the people working there.

I am shocked by your experience at Adams Jeep. My husband and I have bought 4 cars from them and we have received nothing short of superior service every time. We always recommend all of our family and friends to them and I've never heard one complaint ever. I am sorry your experience didn't go well, but I can tell you the Managers and Owners are always there when we stop by and I'm sure they would make sure you are happy. If you haven't talked to anyone from there, I think the owners name is Lloyd Haak, you should call him. I think you would be pleasantly surprised.
