lousy customer service and everything else!

I should have known better when I waited 45 minutes TWICE (the first time they hang up on me after approx 45 mns on hold) before placing an order for a dish network that the company was bad news. The sales person was pretty friendly but it turned out that whatever she told me was erroneous.
It started with the time of the installation. It was supposed to be between 8am and noon on Sunday. The technician showed up at 2pm. When I called to complain at 1 pm that the technician was still not at my house, the customer rep told me very rudely that my only option was to reschedule (and that I should understand that he could not leave someone ELSE’s house with the work undone. As I declined, terrified that I would have to wait for another 5 hours, she told me that I therefore should NOT complain as I had declined the solution she was offering. The best was to come, I had signed up for a monthly agreement at $24.99 a month, the technician showed up with an 18 month agreement at $29.99 per month. He was adamant that it was the only agreement he had and he needed me to sign it to finish the installation. To make things worse, I had called the day before to confirm that my installation package included the tripod to set up the dish. But somehow the technician mentioned that the tripod was NOT in the fee and that I needed to write a check of $39.99 to his PERSONAL name to keep the tripod. Still under the threat of having every thing left undone at 3 pm (remember that I had been waiting since 8 am) and having to go through the whole process again I gave him the check! As if it was not enough, when I called AT&T the day after to inquire about the whole ordeal, the customer rep looked at my file, told me that the rep had been at my house and done with the installation at 10:15am (!!!!!!!), basically calling me a liar, and somehow could not understand the numerous logs of my various phone conversations with her colleague. When I asked for her ID and her manager, she hanged up the phone!
