To Whom It May Concern:

I'd like to lodge a complaint about the bus driver for route 388 to _____ High School. She has been a source of constant headaches for myself and my fellow passengers for the past 2 years, and at this point, I can say that I am completely fed up.

At the start of the year, she arbitrarily pushed back the pickup time for my stop 6 minutes, without informing us. This went on for months, to as recent as February. After that, she "switched" back to the POSTED time, but will, also arbitrarily, show up 5-6 minutes early. Moreover, rather than wait until the POSTED time, as several of us run frantically to the bus, she will wait until we are a few yards away, close her doors, and pull away; several times, I have seen her wagging her finger or shaking her head while looking directly at me while she does this. Obviously, this is no mistake on her part: she knows exactly what she is doing.

Over the past 2 weeks, this has happened upwards of half a dozen times, but thankfully, until today, I have made it close enough that she can't ignore my presence. However, today she did as was described above; the reason I am now here typing this is because I am stranded at home.

Is it not the job of the bus driver to deliver as many children to school as possible? Shouldn't this goal be at the forefront of their minds? When a bus driver shows up 5-10 minutes early (as she did last week)to every stop and arrives at the school with only half of her charges, don't you think something should be done about that?

I am completely sick of this driver's behavior. She has caused a great deal of frustration on the part of me, my friends who ride my bus, and my parents, who often have to drive me to school to make up for this woman's blunders or, as it most probably is, her maliciousness. I beseech you to take some sort of action against her, to remind her that this is a service: it is a job to benefit others, and not to be done as quickly (and carelessly) as possible.

Sincerely,
_______
