could not get a tech to repair cable problem

I called AT&T and found that they are now using personal off shore. Probably India. So called customer service people are rude. The problem I am having is the cable to my oomputer needs a new pluge. A fifteen minute job.
I am very disappointed with the attitude of outsources.
AT&T is not like it was a few months ago.
Shame on you.
