Well, lucky you, Antman.

Whenever I fly Hawaiian, I always seem to get the short end of the stick. I totally believe the above guy's story.

This time, for example, my boyfriend and I were planning a Christmas trip to Hawaii(where he's from) to visit family. I wasn't able to afford the ticket, so I told him to go alone. Long story short, he ended up purchasing the ticket for me as a Christmas gift(at least a $900 ticket, btw). Thing is, when he purchased online, he accidentally input February 3rd instead of January 3rd as the return date. After waiting on the phone on hold for at least 30 minutes, they said that they were going to charge him $150 a pop for each ticket to change the return date! When he asked how the $150 fee could be waived, they suggested that he write a letter of complaint for them to review, and in the meantime, purchase ANOTHER set of tickets with the correct return date while they CONSIDER giving him back his refund! Apparently the process takes them a month to decide.

Now why in the heck would someone spend $1800 PER PERSON for a one-time mistake that happened, with no guarantee that there was going to be a waiving of fees?

Besides, aren't we all human? Are errors not tolerated at all, especially when someone is shelling out $900 for a plane ticket? Besides, my boyfriend has been flying with them for many years, he has been a regular customer.

I swear my patience with Hawaiian Airlines have been tested every year I've flown with them. But this really just kicks it where it already hurts. Christmas is ruined, and we are basically out $1800.
